Biography

Julia Rogler is a Rhode Island based painter living in Pawtucket. Born in Boston, MA, in 1994, she showed interest in painting at an extremely early age and was already trying to draw and paint at the age of two. She has spent many years developing her style and technique and has a deep love for classical art and traditional methods. Her work seeks to recreate these styles while also putting her own unique touches to them. Her favorite subjects include portraits and architecture though she has done a wide variety of other subjects throughout her career.

Julia Rogler graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in May 2021 with Bachelor degrees in both Painting and the History of Art. She has also attended summer programs at The Academy of Realist Art, Boston throughout her time in college to sharpen her skills.

During her time at MassArt, she won the Rosamund (Strong) Halle Scholarship twice for excellence in painting, as well as ‘The History of Art Award’ in 2019. Her works have been exhibited in the prestigious ‘Rhode Island Watercolor Society’ and the ‘Dedham Artist Guild’. She is currently taking commissions for portraits and other work while also perusing her own projects in painting.
